About the archive
Each historical page includes the answer, definition (where available), hints, difficulty, puzzle number and previous/next navigation — real utility, not just a date and a word. Only the current year's pages are indexed; older pages remain available but are excluded from search.
The archive is useful when you are catching up on a puzzle you missed, comparing how difficult recent words have been, or looking for patterns in the answers. Every entry links back to the solver and the word finder, so you can keep exploring from any date.
