About The Daily Wordle

The Daily Wordle is an independent Wordle-focused search utility: a daily five-letter puzzle, progressive hints, a Wordle solver, a five-letter word finder and an archive of past answers.

Not affiliated with The New York Times

The Daily Wordle is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to The New York Times or the official Wordle game. We do not use NYT logos, artwork or interface assets. "Wordle" is used descriptively to describe the type of puzzle.

Our own daily puzzle is generated independently from our own word list. Where the site reports NYT Wordle hints or answers, it does so for reference and clearly labels them as unofficial.

How our data works

Puzzle values — answers, hints, difficulty and metadata — are computed by deterministic programs, not written live by an AI. Definitions come from Open English WordNet (CC BY 4.0). Word frequency comes from wordfreq. See LICENSES.md in the source repository.
